In its September meeting, the Persistent Organic Pollutants Review Committee (POPRC) agreed to develop risk profiles for two substances for consideration at its next meeting:

• bis(2-ethylhexyl) tetrabromophthalate (TBPH), covering any of its individual isomers and/or combinations thereof; and
• decabromodiphenylethane (DBDPE) and its related substance, 1,1'-ethane-1,2-diylbisbenzene, brominated.

ECHA supported the European Commission in preparing the proposal for TBPH.
