Approval of the draft National Implementation Plan for the Stockholm Convention on POPs

Luxembourg's Council of Government has approved the first draft of the National Implementation Plan for the Stockholm Convention on Persistent Organic Pollutants.

This draft national plan, which falls within the framework of the Stockholm Convention on Persistent Organic Pollutants, updates the national plan currently in force, which dates back to 2015. It updates the state of play for Luxembourg in terms of persistent organic pollutant emissions, and describes the measures and actions taken and planned to further reduce these emissions. This preliminary draft plan will be submitted to a public inquiry.
