The European Commission has just opened a public consultation related to Annex I of POPs Regulation.

This consultation concerns PFOA, its salts and PFOA-related compounds (included in Annex I of POPs Regulation). It amends the PFOA concentration as an unintentional trace contaminant in substances, mixtures and articles, and removes a specific exemption that is no longer needed in the EU.

The consultation is opened until 14 June 2022.
