The Persistent Organic Pollutants (POPs) Review Committee recommended listing methoxychlor, a pesticide, in Annex A to the Stockholm Convention.

ECHA has supported the European Commission in drafting its risk management evaluation which was now adopted. The Conference of the Parties to the Stockholm Convention will decide in 2023 about global action towards eliminating methoxyclor.
