An amendment of the Annex I POPs is currently under preparation.

This amendment concerns PFOS and its derivatives which are listed in Annex I POPs. This act will reduce the PFOS concentration allowed to be present as unintentional trace contaminant in substances, mixtures and articles and will remove the last specific exemption that has been allowed in the EU since it is no longer needed.
