A new amendment of POPs Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2022/2400) has just been published at the Official Journal.

This new amendment modifies annexes IV (“List of substances subject to waste management provisions set out in Article 7”) and V (“Waste management”) POPS. It introduces new concentration limits and reduces others.

The adoption of new rules and stricter concentration limits aims to protect the environment and human health and support a true circular economy.
