An amendment of the Annex I POPs is currently under preparation.

This amendment concerns PFOA (perfluoroctanoic acid) and its derivatives which are listed in Annex I POPs. It amends the PFOA concentration as an unintentional trace contaminant in substances, mixtures and articles, and removes a specific exemption that is no longer needed in the EU.
