On the 14^th of July 2022, nearly 25 participants attended the online information session on Persistent Organic Pollutants, organised by the POP Helpdesk which managed by the REACH&CLP Luxembourg Helpdesk.

During this information session, the Helpdesk activities were displayed. Afterward an overview on the POPs Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2019/1021) and the companies’ obligations was presented. This presentation included information on the links between the POP and the REACH regulations. The final presentation included a selection of implementation activities related to POPs in Luxembourg, for example some of the control and surveillance campaigns, projects to monitor PFAS in firefighting foams, etc.
